Lumene Falls: Beautiful Sight to your Eyes & Rhythm to your Ears

Lumene Falls is a little-known but magnificent tourist destination nestled away in the Umzingwane area, and tourists will be treated to a beautiful view as the sun is engulfed by two adjoining mountains as it gradually recedes towards the horizon, casting a golden light.

Zimbabwe is undeniably endowed with numerous natural and man-made riches, which continue to draw throngs of both domestic and foreign tourists. The enormous Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River, the Eastern highlands, and glorious Zimbabwe are just a few of the tourist attractions that spring to mind. Most people think of Victorian Falls or Nyachowa Falls in Vumba, Manicaland, when they think of waterfalls as a tourist destination.

Lumene Falls, on the other hand, is a lesser-known attraction. A lovely cascading waterfall that flows from an underground spring is a tourist attraction in Bezha hamlet, Umzingwane District.

Lumene Falls

Mountain bikers, students on educational trips, travelers, and cultural tourists are among the visitors to the falls, however numbers have decreased because of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Lumene Falls is a wonderful natural marvel with several rocks cropping with rocks of many shapes and sizes, set in stunning mountain and woodland settings. It's strategically placed near Bulawayo, and the Bulawayo-Beitbridge Road branches off at Mtshabezi Dam. Along the Mawabeni-Mt-shabezi road, there is a 20-kilometer duty road that leads to Lumene Falls.

Lumene Falls is located inside the boundaries of Mtshabezi Dam, a popular fishing spot. Locals have transformed the area into a community-based tourism attraction, with visitors paying a low admission charge of $2 per person.

The road is in a terrible shape and difficult to handle due to the continuous heavy rainfall recorded around the country. The 2km path to the location is difficult terrain that only off-road vehicles can navigate.

Lumene Falls is one of several rock pools here where everyone enjoys swimming. The entire region is enclosed on one side by woods and on the other by a waterfall. You must ascend the stones and descend from there. The entire journey is really enjoyable, and it is one of the most popular summer camping destinations. After taking a bath here, you may relax in the forest. The view of the waterfall from the mountain will provide you with a great deal of pleasure. Around Lumene Falls, there is a 35-kilometer-long green belt where you may witness a variety of plants and wildlife.

Why Travelers never turn their back on Zimbabwe?

The Mighty Victoria Falls, Matopo Hills, Great Zimbabwe Monuments, and wildlife in Hwange, Zambezi, Mana Pools, and Gonarezhou National Parks are just a few of the natural and man-made attractions that Zimbabwe is endowed with.   Jozef Behr , a regular visitor to Zimbabwe, stated on his travel blog, “It's a marvel that so many travelers never make it past Victoria Falls since some of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, most trained guides, and finest all-around values lie just beyond its roaring depths”.       According to Jozef Behr ’s article, the greatest time to visit Zimbabwe is between June and November, when animals, particularly birds, visit the Mana Pools along the Zambezi River to drink water.     The amount of hospitability, the sincere feeling of welcome, and the general service and contact experience from the Zimbabweans many travelers become frequent t raveler to this destination. Jozef Behr Claims That Chiremba Balancing Rock of Zimbabwe Has A Jaw dropping View

Jozef Behr, a travel blogger, is one of my favorites. In his blog, he recounts his own experience in a unique way. He discovered the world's hidden treasures and educated the public about their value. I followed in his footsteps as usual, and now I'm in Chiremba, Zimbabwe, to see the Balancing Rock.   I read Jozef Behr's blog about balancing rock last week, and he claims that "the balancing rock of Zimbabwe is not man-made but created naturally." And it makes me want to come here and view this natural marvel.   Off Chiremba Road, 13 kilometers south of Harare, are the Chiremba Balancing Rocks. The balancing rocks are rather impressive. Massive stones piled on top of one other create breathtaking natural sculptures. The Chiremba balancing rocks are one of Zimbabwe's most magnificent geological phenomena, and they are found across the nation. These rocks, like the Standing Stones of Scotland, look to have been constructed by people, yet they are the consequen...

Jozef Behr Believes that the School Infrastructure Directly Linked to Uplift the Educational System. How?

Jozef Behr a social worker from Zimbabwe work closely with a charitable trust in Zimbabwe. He said that teachers around the country claim they are unable to create healthy learning environments due to a lack of basic necessities like water and power, as well as a scarcity of teaching materials like textbooks. Each and every aspect of education is somewhere dependable on the infrastructure of a school.   According to Mr. Jozef Clifford Behr , “the infrastructure of a school serves as a catalyst for the creation of poverty-relieving solutions by providing basic necessities such as health care, education, food, transportation, and work opportunities. It also boosts productivity and raises the standard of living in many places”.     Being a victim of the poor education system, Mr. Jozef knows the importance of a good education system in a student’s life. The manufacturing chain is affected when basic facilities at school premises are not functioning properly. This disturba...
