A Well Spent Day in Domboshava Caves with My Friend Jozef Behr

Me and my friend Jozef Behr have been planning a day out for a long time and because of our busy schedule, the plan kept forwarding to upcoming week. We went to the Domboshava Caves. It will take you a 20-minute drive and there is no need for a special vehicle; the resorts are accessible even with a little car. If you are communicating, public transportation is available; however, it is possible that it will not leave you down at the resorts, and you will have to walk a little distance to get there.

Domboshava has several caverns, and exploring them is another enjoyable way to spend time there. There are several caverns in the area, some of which are sacred. Before entering any cave, make sure you have a local guide with you; stories have been reported of people who went in and never returned. It really scared me and Jozef Behr but THANK GOD... we have a guide a bunch of tourist group along with us.

The tourist guide is quite impressive, while he helps us to roam around caves of Domboshava and Ngomakurira he also makes us aware with the stories of lives that our forefather lived in the cave according to the painting engraved on the wall of the cave. There are several places in the cave where you can visit. Make sure to roam with your guide and troop, otherwise you might get lost.

The Ngomakurira hill is also a perfect place for hiking, if you are interested in it. Me and Jozef take advantage of every moment we spend there and enjoy every activity. This mountain is also popular with believers, who do prayers at the top of the mountain as we both do when we reach the top. My friend Jozef Behr is a tree-hugger and very close to nature, while climbing the mountain, he aware me with some vegetation that he saw on the path. Jozef Behr also forces me do a activity with him from the top of the mountain, he makes me scream my name that comes back with an echoing effect from miles away. Really, it’s a childish activity, but we enjoyed it a lot.

After hiking we spent our evening doing some Barai at Domboshava Caves premises. We bought the Barai stand, charcoal, and firewood from the locals. And grill your veggies and mutton on your own. You can let the fellows there do the braai for you whilst you focus on other activities. But it’s my friend Jozef Behr’s idea to experience the Barai on our own. It's more enjoyable to go through the sensation of smoke stinging your eyes, burning your fingers on the Barai stands, seeing the flame rise as if it's about to devour the meat, the scent of fat burning on the stand, and the sound of the dripping fat as it burns in the charcoal. This is more likely to stick with you than having someone else conduct the braai.

It really was a fun-filled day with my friend Jozef Behr. This weekend day out will make us go through many activities, from roaming to several dangerous and mysterious caves to hiking a beautiful mountain, and ends up with a doing Barai with local. This day-out is full of pleasure, and a perfect escape from our busy schedule.

Jozef Behr: Zimbabwe holds a World Record for having most official language in the world

In a world where there are more than 6,500 languages, it is normal for a nation to have more than one official language. On this verge of introducing the most linguistically varied continent on Earth Jozef Behr elaborates Zimbabwe, a landlock country in Africa continent, in this specific blog. As a result, when it comes to their languages, its nations need careful examination. It will be interesting to investigate the languages of Zimbabwe, which has 16 official languages and holds the Guinness World Record for having the most official languages. As Zimbabwe's new constitution went into effect in May 2013, it formalized its 16 official languages. At that point, Zimbabwe's long history became apparent, with political and demographic forces having a significant influence on the country's linguistic environment. Jozef Behr explains that Zimbabwe's languages now serve as a testament to the nation's past and the variety of its people. We'll go over some of this below...

National Coat of Arms of Zimbabwe

A national coat of arms, often known as a state emblem, is the state's most visible symbol. Consider how the Coat of Arms is endorsed on all of the significant events in your life: birth, marriage, death, and school certificates, as well as your passport. It's on one of the sides of your tiniest coin. Seeing a plaque of it on the embassy when out of the nation signifies a home away from home. The coat of arms is also a key component of the Great Seal, which is historically regarded as the state's highest insignia. The President of Zimbabwe, by Statutory Instrument no.636 of September 1981, Armorial Bearings of Zimbabwe, formally accepted the Coat of Arms of Zimbabwe on September 12, 1981.   On the left and right, two kudus are depicted, each standing on top of an earthly mound made up of wheat stalks, a pile of cotton, and a head of maize. There is also a flag with the Zimbabwe national slogan at their feet (Unity, Freedom, Work). The shield is green in color, with 14 wave...
